You can't go to Barcelona with some time to spare and not see the traces left by this movement, born at the end of the 19th century. It played an important role in architecture, where it incorporated forms inspired by nature, as well as new materials.

In what is known as the "apple of discord", on Passeig de Gràcia, we find the mark of three leading architects: Lluís Domènech i Montaner, Josep Puig i Cadafalch and Antoni Gaudí, who built a house for the Lleó Morera, Amatller and Batlló families, respectively.

Also belonging to this style are the Palau de la Música, the Museu de Ciències Naturals i Zoologia building and the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, which along with La Pedrera (Casa Milà), the Sagrada Família, Parc Güell and the Casa Vicens, among others, were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

The Fira Barcelona Gran Vía exhibition centre, located just 5 minutes from our Hotel Fira Congress, is one of the largest, most modern and complete in Europe. It is characterised by its design and functionality, with 8 pavilions connected by a walkway that channels the circulation of attendees, and which have the most innovative and cutting-edge technical and logistical features.

It has 240,000 m2 of gross exhibition area, 45 restaurants and 4,580 parking spaces. It is a large facility that is also easily accessible by public transport, either by train (FGC), bus (TMB) and metro L9, which connect directly with the exhibition centre and allow you to move quickly around the city.

Baix Llobregat is a region located in the province of Barcelona, 15 minutes from the city centre, and forms part of the southern metropolitan area.
